The online course “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” is an activity within the framework of the international project ECOVIP, aiming to promote innovative thinking and entrepreneurship in the field of ecotourism, towards sustainable development in Vietnam and the Philippines. Notably, the Thai Nguyen University of Science is not only a participating unit but also plays a key role in teaching and training in the first classes.
The important role of TNUS lecturers in entrepreneurship training
Right from the beginning of the course, the lecturers of TNUS, including Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai, Dr. Truong Phuc Hung, MSc. Mai Thi Lan Anh and the ECOVIP TNUS project team, have taken on the role of guiding students’ entrepreneurial thinking and inspiring creativity:
✔ Master the mindset of entrepreneurship and innovation, through lectures and real-life examples from the market.
✔ Build a business idea from scratch, helping students confidently implement their personal startup projects.
✔ Understand the portrait of an entrepreneur, through sharing from tourism experts:
- Mr. Nguyen Van Thao, Director of Monisa Trade and Tourism Company.
- Mr. Tran Vu Truong, Director of SOHA Travel International Travel & Event Joint Stock Company.
In addition to teaching, the TNUS teaching staff also acted as mentors, accompanying and supporting students during their studies. This has helped create a dynamic, practical and inspiring learning environment for students participating in the course.

Positive feedback from students after the first classes
After the first three classes led by TNUS lecturers, students expressed many positive feelings about the quality of teaching and course content:
"The content is very practical and useful! We can apply it to our startup projects right away."
"Extremely excited to have the opportunity to interact with experienced mentors, helping us gain a deeper understanding of how to realize our ideas."
