Two recent academic publications by authors from Can Tho University (CTU) successfully reflected the goals and spirit of the ECOViP Project, which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship in sustainable ecotourism education. The first article, published in the European Journal of Social Sciences (April 2025), titled “University Students’ Perceptions of Entrepreneurship Through Participation in an Online Training Course under the ECOVIP International Project”, presented findings from a study involving 108 students. The course included nine virtual sessions designed around entrepreneurship fundamentals, business development, and real-world application. Results showed increased entrepreneurial awareness, skill development, and mindset shifts among students. The study highlighted the value of international collaboration and experiential learning in online entrepreneurship education.
The second article was presented at the 12th International European Conference on Interdisciplinary Scientific Researchin Rome (July 2025). Titled “An Analysis of Entrepreneurship
Education at Can Tho University, Vietnam: A Multi-Stakeholder Perspective through the ECOViP Framework,” the study evaluated entrepreneurship training using data from 260 stakeholders. Findings showed that while the ECOViP-aligned curriculum was effective, improvements were needed in industry engagement and practical exposure.
Both articles demonstrated ECOViP’s impact on education at CTU and its broader mission to integrate sustainability and innovation into higher education through stakeholder collaboration and international partnerships.
