In October and November 2023, the Faculty of Tourism at Nha Trang University will host Replication Workshops as part of the ECOViP project - Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Ecotourism to support sustainable development in Vietnam and the Philippines.

The first workshop, held in October, centered around the theme " Teaching Entrepreneurship in Higher Education: Approach and Good Practices." This event, in conjunction with the Scientific Seminar of the Hospitality Management Department, drew significant participation from nearly 80 lecturers and students across various courses.
The workshop focused on introducing the Base Business Creation Model to foster startup ideas and sharing practical methods for presenting ideas, products, or services to investors. Additionally, it included a summary of the research collaboration discussed during the Training of Trainers 1 at Alicante University (Spain) and a plan for the implementation of the project's online entrepreneurship course. Furthermore, plans were discussed for organizing a student competition in 2024.

Anticipated for November, the upcoming workshop aims to delve deeper into showcasing examples of sustainable tourism entrepreneurs. It seeks to suggest innovative startup ideas and facilitate practical exercises for students to present their business concepts.
