On the morning of June 24, 2025, Nha Trang University hosted the final round of the ECOViP 2025 Ecotourism Entrepreneurship Competition, marking the culmination of a five-month journey that began in February 2025.
The competition attracted more than 40 students from various faculties, including Tourism, Information Technology, and the Institute of Biotechnology & Environment. Participants underwent a series of activities such as online startup training, intensive workshops on ecotourism business models, design thinking, business planning, digital marketing, and sustainable impact evaluation.
After multiple rounds of selection, the top three teams—Mango Farm, OCEANICA, and ECOGUIDE—advanced to the final round. Each team presented their business ideas and responded to questions from a panel of expert judges.
The final results were:
- First Prize: ECOGUIDE
- Second Prize: OCEANICA
- Third Prize: Mango Farm
- Most Popular Video Award: Mango Farm (over 968 engagement points)
As the winning team, ECOGUIDE will represent Nha Trang University at the ECOViP Ecotourism Startup Summer Camp in Thai Nguyen in July 2025.
The ECOViP Project, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, continues to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in ecotourism while strengthening sustainable development efforts in Vietnam and the Philippines.
